Pamper Problem Skin with Eucerin Skin Care Products

Eucerin skin care products are known for their help in calming dry, sensitive, or itchy skin. In addition, doctors often recommend Eucerin to patients with eczema. The products are used on babies, children, and adults because they are low in irritants and overall very moisturizing.

Body Care Products

The Eucerin skin care line for your body offers products to calm, heal, repair, and replenish your skin. If your skin is dry and flaky as a result of diabetes or dry winter air, you can try the AHA-laden Plus Intensive Repair Lotion. It exfoliates those flakes right off and offers moisture to the skin that lies beneath.

If you need to spot-treat hands or feet, there are hand and foot creams within the same Plus line. There's also a body cream that claims to help with keratosis pilaris. The original formula was designed to lock moisture into very dry skin found in those with eczema, diabetes, and psoriasis. It was designed to be safe for children or adults with its limited ingredients and no fragrance. You can choose from the lotion or the cream. The cream is thick and harder to spread than the lotion, but it locks in serious moisture for hours and hours.

Aquaphor, a branch of the Eucerin skin care line, is also a very emollient product. It sometimes comes in a tub similar to the one the Eucerin cream comes in and is similar in consistency to Vaseline. On the website, Aquaphor is shown in a blue tube and claims to cut down on healing time for dry, chapped skin; skin left raw from radiation treatments or atopic dermatitis; and minor burns.

If you're just looking for a light yet powerful daily moisturizer, the Daily Replenishing Lotion may be your best bet. It claims to hold moisture in for 24 hours after application.

Facial Skin Care Products

Eucerin offers a whole line of skin products just for treating redness. These products are perfect for those with rosacea or sensitive skin, since they do the job without causing additional irritation.

Eucerin’s cleanser claims to actually reduce redness with regular use. The green-tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 cancels out redness for a smoother, more uniform skin tone alone or under makeup. The perfecting cream, like the moisturizer, also has a green tint for those red spots that just won't hide under skin-toned concealers. There's a night cream in the line, as well, that's similar to the cleanser. It, too, claims to reduce redness over the course of about four weeks. It instantly soothes dry, tight skin with its gel-like moisture.

If you don't have red skin issues, you can still take advantage of Eucerin's products. The SPF 30 moisturizing lotion for your face blocks UVA and UVB rays. The protection is higher than most other moisturizers with SPF, which usually average around SPF 15.

Skin Care for Your Baby

Eucerin skin care includes a few products for babies. Under the Aquaphor name, there are two things--the Baby Healing Ointment and the Gentle Wash. The ointment is designed to help with diaper rash, atopic dermatitis, and even minor burns. The wash in this line is great for those with atopic dermatitis, dry skin, or just sensitive skin. In fact, many adults like this product because of the mild ingredients that don't leave an irritating residue on the skin. This one in particular is soap-free and fragrance-free. The original formula of Eucerin lotion and cream mentioned above are also safe for use on babies.
