Innovative Skincare
From LoveToKnow Skincare
The popular and well considered products of Innovative Skincare are developed using high ethical and beauty standards with an eye towards making quality products available to all.
The Goals of Innovative Skincare
Innovative uses pharmacologists and doctors to develop the most scientific and advanced skincare products on the market, with the ultimate goal of providing users with healthier, happier skin. If a customer is not pleased with their progress, Innovative works with them to try and improve their results and has a very good return policy should nothing else work. Unlike many other companies, they are also relatively straightforward and detailed about their ingredients, although you have to expend a bit of effort to get a full ingredient list on their product page. They do, unfortunately, use problematic ingredients such as dimethicone and parabens, but they at least recognize the concerns and state their reasons for using the ingredients and some evidence that they may not be as dangerous as recent studies have shown.
The Company's Products
Since studies on troubling ingredients are still comparatively early, many customers are very happy to use the entire Innovative line. The products are broken down into basic categories. First, you can choose from those that cleanse, hydrate, treat or protect. They also combine various products to assist with those dealing with skin cancer treatments. They seem to be unique in this regard, although obviously you must consult with your doctor as to what products are acceptable and beneficial under such circumstances. The company Web site at Innovative Skincare also has in-depth articles on skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, dry skin, etc., that can help you target your best products. If you are not sure of what you need or what will best work for your skin, Innovative’s customer service department will work with you to help you select products.
The Basics
The cleansing complex uses ingredients like white willow bark extract, sugar cane extract, chamomile and vitamins A, E and C to deep clean without drying and help control acne.
Innovative offers nine products under its treatment category. These include a variety of serums, depending on your skin’s needs, an eye gel, and complexes. One of the more popular is the Youth Complex, which has been said to show results within an hour of application. Using ingredients like hyaluronic acid, fruit acid extracts, white willow bark extract, peptides and vitamin B5, the youth complex claims to reduce wrinkles quickly while rebuilding the skin with measurable results.
There are four hydrating products, one for the body, the eyes, a hydra-cool serum and a moisturizing complex. The eye complex, for one of the skin's most demanding areas, is said to brighten, tone and smooth with results both immediate and long-term. Ingredients include aloe vera, bilberry extract, sugar cane extract, gingko biloba extract, mushroom extract, alpha lipoic acid and vitamins E and A.
For protection, Innovative offers a powder sunscreen with an SPF of 20. Consisting of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, it’s an easily applied powder that goes well over most makeup. They also make a treatment sunscreen with an SPF of 25. Its ingredients include zinc oxide, aloe vera, olive leaf extract and vitamin E. It not only provides protection, but helps reduce the appearance of sunburn.
Buying the Products
While you can’t buy Innovative products from their own Web site, there is a tab on the site that helps you find local sellers by entering your zip code. If you’re not satisfied or have more questions, there is also a toll-free phone number to get further assistance.
Innovative Skincare products are also available from a number of online sellers such as SkinTerra, which offers an e-mail consultation for first-time buyers. Other online vendors include Essential Day Spa and Skin Care Rx. It is recommended, however, that if you haven’t used the products before, you should examine them in person before purchasing.
