Girly, thanks for your comment! We definitely don't associate black nails with only goth looks. In fact, I'm like you - very girly and love to wear black because it can look sophisticated and classic. This is mentioned in the article above as well, which we think does a fair job of discussing how black nail polish might be conceived!

Black nail polish doesnt have to represent "goth". It could look cool! Im am SUPER GIRLY and I were black nail polish! This articale is so biased!!!!!!!

I love black nail polish. Ever since I saw the ...cat dolls wearing them, I've always wanted to wear it but wasn't sure it will go with me. But it does and I love it. Especially on my short, well manicured nails. To me, it shows that I'm mature, classy, yet sexy in my own way. Its bold and stands out on my fairly light skin. I love it!!!!!
