Theresa, thank you for your query and I'm very sorry to hear about your mother's illness. I wish her well. Unfortunately we have no connection with Dove - we only write about them! I recommend getting in touch with the company at Dove.com. Good luck.

-- Contributed by: TsharmaI would to know why are you not selling the face products on the stores anymore. The reason for asking this question, I was using face products and my skin was perfect. Where can I get that products again. Please help because its good for my skin
-- Contributed by: Kedibone MoleteSJ, that is very true. I personally don't consider Dove's advertisements to be exploitative in the least, but I can understand some people are simply more sensitive to certain concepts.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaNatalia, do you also not allow your children to go to the beach where they might see women wearing less clothes then on the Dove ad? Almost every magazine has a cover with pictures of stick thin celebrities wearing less then these women are.
-- Contributed by: SJNatalia, you make some interesting points. I'd recommend you direct them directly to Dove (we only write the articles, but we definitely appreciate your point of view). Visit Dove.com for details.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaI do not agree with Dove's advertising because after I turned over my Reader's Digest (Aug. 2008)and saw a picture of a woman in only her bra, I thought not of beauty and courage, but of the exploitation of women in order to sell products. This is offensive to me as a woman. I know a woman's body is beautiful. As such, it should be treated with respect and honor, not publically exploited with a half-naked picture strewn across homes all across America. Also, these images are not appropriate for children who may randomly pick up the magazine, and as it's on the back cover they will instantly be exposed to it. Please have family-friendly advertising, and please have more respect for women and clothe them decently. I am happy to buy my beauty products elsewhere if you are intent on advertising in this way.
