DeAnn, based on what I learned at a recent spa session, it's generally not recommended for pregnant woman to undergo dry brushing treatments. Opinions may vary (especially as this was not medical advice), but the process of detoxing the system could potentially be harmful. Hi, Do you know whether or not it is safe to dry brush one's skin during a pregnancy. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be safe. It is of little use to ask my doctor this. They just don't get it.

Anja, it is safe. Facial brushes, like this one by Dermalogica, are available specifically for this purpose. Be gentle and discontinue use if you experience irritation.
