Sorry to hear that, CJ. It sounds like she did indeed do a mediocre job. A great top coat is always essential - if you want to try it at home, use something like Seche Vite, which is phenomenal and practically guarantees that your manicure will last.

i got a french manicure and it chipped the very next day. In fact, my index finger nail paint was completely gone. By the end of the second day not one nail didn't have a chip in it. How does anyone get it to last a week to 2 weeks? Did the nail technician just not do a good job? i won't be going back to that place

great step by step.i got a kit on French manicure and my nails look just as real.there just not long enough but still looks great.
