-- Contributed by: big bad mack daddyThat's right, Samantha - we definitely don't recommend applying it all over the face! It works wonders on minor skin wounds, however.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaLorelei, that was pretty much exactly my experience with Neosporin. I had an awful blemish that burst and kept soaking up oil (lovely, I know!). Neosporin finally helped heal the skin and it's been free of scarring too.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaThat's great, Anne. It's worked wonders for me on acne scars, too.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaNeosporin is not good to put all over your face for the reasons stated above, however, it is true that you will less likely get scars. It's a good healing ointment.
-- Contributed by: SamanthaI have been constantly extracting this one pore on my cheek and every week, after it heals, something manages to get trapped inside of it. I recently extracted it with a professional tool and put Neosporin on the wound and when I woke up, there was a bubble of oil sitting on the skin. It washed off my face but, I realized that that oil must be what gets trapped back into my skin and causes the pore to clog. Two days later, it's healing nicely without scabbing, scarring or leaving a dark blemish behind. Neosporin rocks!
-- Contributed by: LoreleiHooray! There is a great cure to prevent scarring. I have been extracting (with a professional extractor tool) this one pore for weeks. I put Neosporin on the open wound and within 3 days, it was healed, smooth, clean and no blemish or scabbing. Great for after a pimple is popped. Neosporin is a great home remedie!
