Azad, I'm sorry to hear about your son's skin allergy. I'm not sure of which hospital you would need to visit in Delhi, but I recommend you search for a dermatologist. He or she will be able to thoroughly examine your son's face and explain what the problem is. Good luck and please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for your idea! Hopefully Ceecee will see this and respond if her daughter still needs help.

I've read those comments.. and maybe they are prurigo nodularis.. Are those irritations formed in tendential circles of small eruptions who release a tranparent sore when scratched? If you clean those sores with a white paper napkin they turn slightly yellow when dry? If so, and if there are prurigo nodularis, when cured those bad looking lesions will turn into new skin and marks turn almost unvisible

Ceecee, I'm sorry to hear that. Are these spots bumpy or itchy? It sounds like some sort of allergy or form of dermatitis, but as we aren't medical professionals we can unfortunately not provide you with any type of diagnosis. I can only recommend seeking further opinions. Good luck.

Crystal, I'm very sorry to hear about this. I'm sure it's extremely frustrating for you and, of course, just awful for your daughter. Skin afflictions can be puzzling when the symptom isn't particularly telling of anything specific. Because we aren't medical professionals, we can't provide you with any specific advice, and without seeing your daughter's skin it wouldn't be prudent to even advise what types of products to use. It sounds as though her skin is extremely sensitive right now. If at all possible, it would be helpful to have her avoid scratching the bumps.

In the meantime, I would recommend visiting a pediatric dermatologist if there is one in your area. Skin care in adults and children does differ greatly, so it would be helpful to consult with someone who specializes in children's cases. I wish you the best of luck.

my daughter started getting a severe rash after taking several anibiotics which she has never reacted to in the past as well as a bactroban cream for a bite on her leg. She has continued to worsen after 3 weeks she has only worsened still. She was put on a liquid steroid, sent to a dermatologist who also prescribed a steroidal cream. All THREE physicians she saw said they had never seen anything quite like it. The only way to describe them is to say, they are like a million(literally) giant, wart-like bumps which itch so badly she is brought to tears several times a day. The scars will be terrible judging from the number of sores forming on the bumps from scratching. She is barely 9 years old. These bumps are COVERING her arms and legs (especially large on her knees and elbows), yet NONE on her back or torso. They appear to be migratory. The doctors seem to be taking the "lets just wait and see what happens after another month or so" approach. My baby girl is in desperate need of help and noone seems to know what to do. Please help.
