Good question! Though I'm not aware of a specific connection between Swedish Bitters and its effect on sun damaged skin, you might want to give it a try. Swedish Bitters in general is considered excellent for the skin, and you can take it internally or find it in skin-specific formulas (like body soap). Good luck.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaIs this also good for blemishes, ie, age spots/sun damaged skin? I've had pixel this summer, brown spots considerably reduced, but don't want to take trips to dermatologist. Thanks.

These two ingredients are great for a variety of purposes, so it's not surprising that your neighbor relied on it for beautiful skin. One facial mask recipe calls for 1 tsp. honey, 1 tbsp. milk and 1 egg white. Blend the ingredients and apply to the face for half an hour. Rinse with warm water and enjoy rejuvenated, soft skin!
-- Contributed by: TsharmaI remember my neighbor using a mixture of honey, I think egg, and something else every night for beautiful skin. WOuld you know of that recipe or one like it? Is it similar to the Swedish Bitters recipe? I don't remember her mother putting the other ingredients in.
