The Ashe skin care products collection is a veritable gold mine of products for individuals with problem skin. Even those with normal skin can reap the benefits of these specialty products, in great part because the lineup also includes cosmetics, beauty tools and body care.
Founded by Aisha Khalid, Ashe is a beauty company that specializes first and foremost in skin care products. The company also sells a range of color cosmetics and beauty tools. Khalid also owns Ashi Salons, Inc., a chain of eight salons in the Houston, Texas area, where she treats customers who suffer from skin problems like acne, skin discoloration and pigmentation, to name a few.
The Ashe Skin Care Products Collection
With so many products available, a skin care aficionado could spend quite a while perusing the company's Web site. The lineup includes:
- Facial masks and scrubs
- Anti-wrinkle collections
- Skin whiteners
- Eye Crèmes
- Men's maintenance
To make the shopping experience simpler for the consumer, Ashe has broken down its products into various collections. They include:
24K Gold Series
Formulated to give the skin a natural glow, lightening dull spots and leaving behind a radiant finish, this collection includes a moisturizing cleanser, a face mask, a nourishing toner, a serum and a moisturizer. All products are sold in a set that retails for $50. A bar of soap, also part of the collection, is available separately for $3.
The Diamond Series includes a face mask, a moisturizing serum and a dermabrasion treatment. Used together, these products promise to revitalize dull skin, reduce the appearance of visible pores, treat scars caused by acne and target stretch marks and age spots. The dermabrasion treatment is a unique blend of ultra-fine diamond crystals, aloe, hibiscus flora extract and chamomile, making it a gentle alternative to spa treatments that might irritate sensitive skin. Each product is sold individually, ranging from $30 to $35.
The Pearl Series includes Pearl Cream N Serum, a unique treatment for dry skin that contains activated gold, South Sea pearl extract and seaweed extract, among other things. Its main purpose is to moisturize exceptionally dehydrated skin, but in doing so it also helps contribute to a brighter, more radiant complexion. The cream retails for $30.
Individuals who suffer from stubborn acne will no doubt benefit from the company's Acne Control System, which includes an oil-free face wash, a moisturizer, a therapeutic zinc and sulfur mask and a drying lotion, which attacks existing blemishes. The set retails for $35.
Touted as an "alternative to Botox," Ashe's primary anti-aging product is the Wrinkle Erase Serum. It contains 10 percent of an ingredient called Argireline, which has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, crow's feet and frown lines with regular use. Regular use is recommended in order to reap its benefits. The serum retails for $30.
Eye Care Collection
The thin, delicate skin around the eyes requires extra special care and attention. Aging skin in particular demands creams that gently but effectively target fine lines without irritating the area. The Ashe eye care collection includes an eye mask, which lessens the appearance of dark circles and reduces puffiness; an eye cream developed for individuals who suffer from extremely dark circles and tired eyes; a revitalizing eye gel enriched with green tea, chamomile and cucumber extracts to refresh and soothe the eye area; and an oil-free eye makeup remover, to gently remove even waterproof makeup.
In addition to Ashe skin care products, the company also offers a range of cosmetics, including lipsticks, lip glosses, foundation, eyeliners, concealers, blush, pressed and loose powders, mascara and related tools.
